Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary research into the study of memories of eyewitnesses and children's victimes as witness in court contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded numerous prizes and grants. She has offered consulting on research and policy to numerous agencies and government departments across the world. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has served as the president of three divisions (Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology-Law Society as well as Division Developmental Psychology) and one Section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
